Dickens' spirited tale of a miser's redemption at Christmas gets a marvelous musical remaking in a new production. Ebenezer Scrooge, Jacob Marley and Tiny Tim take center stage in this heartfelt production, with breathtaking music that neatly underscores the moments of drama as Ebenezer tours his own past, present and future.

Quintet members are Charles Gates and John Schuesselin, trumpet; Bob Gilbert, horn; Greg Luscombe, trombone; and Joe Sellmansberger, tuba. Guest artist is Ricky Burkhead, percussion. Program features a variety of music for brass by Eric Ewazen, Karel Husa, Michael Mauldin and Tylman Susato.
