The Government Information Services/Media/Microforms Department is located on the ground floor of the J.D. Williams Library in the east wing. (See Maps and Directions for directions to Oxford and the campus and for floor maps of the library.)

A federal depository since 1883, the Library is the Regional Federal Depository for Mississippi and is also a Mississippi state documents depository. We receive all government publications distributed through the U.S. Federal Depository Library Program (Title 44, USC) and through the Mississippi State Depository Program.

Our mission is to make our resources and services available to the citizens of Mississippi and to Mississippi’s libraries, as well as to the students, staff, and faculty of the university.
