Beilstein - Organic chemistry database indexes three primary data domains: substances, reactions and literature. Contains structural information including chemical, physical and bioactivity data; preparation of substances; and literature citations, titles and abstracts. Client must be downloaded and installed, use from on-campus only. Available on all public workstations in the Science Library.

Dissertation Abstracts - Ph. D. dissertations and selected masters theses accepted in the US.
Dissertations Full-text - University of Mississippi dissertations online, 1997-

Google Scholar - if using from on campus, look for the "Get It @ UM Libraries" link. From off campus, change your Scholar Preferences to include the Univesity of Mississippi Libraries.

Cambridge Crystallographic Database - Available on workstaion Sci12 in the Science Library. Contact Dr. Keith Hollis for infomation on acquiring the database for your lab.

ChemFinder - provides chemical structures, physical properties, and hyperlinks.
ChemID - NLM database of over 380,000 chemicals, synonyms, structures, regulatory list information, and links to other databases.
Material Safety Data Sheets - safety information
NIST Virtual Library: Chemistry - includes chemical characterization of materials, process metrology, chemical and biochemical sensing, nanotechnology, healthcare measurements, environmental measurements, physical property data, chemical and biochemical data, bio-molecules and materials, DNA technologies, and international measurement standards.
PubChem - provides information on the biological activities of small molecules. Organized as three linked databases within the NCBI's Entrez
information retrieval system. These are PubChem Substance, PubChem Compound, and PubChem BioAssay. PubChem also provides a fast chemical structure similarity search tool.
Smithsonian physical tables - Comprising 901 tables concentrating on a broad scope of common physical and chemical data.
