If you have to find articles on a given topic, this page will help you choose the database(s) you will need.  It has descriptions of the most relevant databases, the scope of their coverage, and tutorials on their use where available.

Journals

This page will help you locate a specific journal.  Use this page:

  • if you already have a full citation for an article,
  • if a professor has recommended you look for information using a certain periodical, or
  • if you are curious to know the range of journals the library has access to in a given field.

Statistics

Statistics and datasets from a variety of sources, many including demographic and econometric data.  Other primary sources of statistical data may be found on the Web Resources page (below).
