Advertising Red Books Online
The Red Books are the standard multi-volume reference books for advertisers. This online version provides a brand name lookup and information on companies, their advertising expenditures, and the advertising agenices they do business with.

Communication and Mass Media Complete
Contains indexing and abstracting for over 600 titles, and full text of 301 journals in Mass media, communication, and other closely-related fields of study.

Literary Reference Center
A comprehensive literary reference database, which provides users with a broad spectrum of reference information from antiquity to the present day.

SRDS (Standard Rate and Data Services)
SRDS is an online database that gives advertising information for various forms of media. All information is provided by the client. For many items--especially print--SRDS includes a link to the publication's media kit. Media kits will often include both advertising information and reader demographics.

LexisNexis Academic--NOTICE: this self-paced online TUTORIAL gives an excellent overview
This is THE database for newspapers, transcripts (radio & TV), and wire services. Also excellent for legal and business research, including Roper survey and poll data.

Contains full text for regional U.S. newspapers, international newspapers, newswires, newspaper columns as well as other sources.
