Cochrane Library - a collection of databases that contain high-quality, independent evidence on which to base clinical treatment decisions.

International Pharmaceutical Abstracts - Coverage of pharmaceutical science and health related literature from 1970 to the present.

MEDLINE - Covers biomedical articles back to the 1950s. Medline is available via a number of interfaces. Choose your flavor:

Natural & Alternative Treatments - contains detailed information on more than 180 different conditions and the conventional and natural treatments used to treat them, over 200 herbs and supplements, plus drug-herb and drug-supplement interactions for more than 75 drug categories.

Natural Standard -  provides
high quality, evidence-based information about complementary and alternative
therapies.

Web of Science - includes Science and Social Sciences citation indexes.

Health Source : Nursing / Academic Edition - full text for for nearly 550 health periodicals, including

Science.Gov - Searches over 38 databases and 1,950 selected websites, offering 200 million pages of authoritative U.S. government science information, including research and development results.

PsycINFO - 1967 to present. Journal articles, chapters, books, dissertations and reports on psychology and related fields.

  • National Guideline Clearinghouse  -Guideline.gov is a repository for clinical practice guidelines created by various government agencies, non-profit groups, and professional organizations.
  • PubMed Clinical Queries  -"Search by Clinical Study Category" allows you to focus your search by question type and scope (broad/narrow). "Find Systematic Reviews" allows you to find systematic reviews, meta-analyses, and practice guidelines.
